South Gippsland Shire Council has established a Sport and Recreation COVID Fund to help sporting clubs and recreation reserves to recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
Funding of up to $1,000 excluding GST is available to eligible applicants to promote community connection and social inclusion, to increase sporting and recreation opportunities and to help sporting clubs respond and recover from emergencies and disasters.
Not-for-profit sport and recreation groups and clubs based in South Gippsland are encouraged to apply.
A total of $40,000 is available and applications will be assessed as they are received. Applications will close when the funding allocation has been exhausted.
