New Public Toilet for Bena

A new Public Toilet will soon be installed in Bena at the bus terminal on Bass Valley Road.
Key features of the facility include:
- Prime location that suits residents, McGrath Park users, commuters, cyclists and pedestrians (particularly those who use the Great Southern Rail Trail).
- Solar-powered lighting system to ensure safety.
- Rainwater tank for hand washing.
- Pump-out collection well system to prioritise efficient waste disposal and maintain hygiene standards.
Pre-fabrication of the facility will be done remotely to ensure minimal disruption to the site.
At this stage, it is expected that the new Public Toilet will be installed ready for the busy summer season.
