Coal Creek Community Park and Museum
Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is a heritage village, set on 27 hectares of bush and parkland. The Park opened to the public as a community driven project in 1974, and continues to tell the stories of the natural, industrial and social history of South Gippsland from pre-colonial settlement through to the 1920s, and beyond.
Coal Creek is comprised of many heritage listed buildings relocated from around the region, and holds the most significant collection of historic items in South Gippsland.
Volunteers have played an invaluable role at Coal Creek for nearly 50 years, and we welcome your interest in joining our program.
