Putting your emergency plan into action
We create our emergency plans when we are calm and can think clearly. When an emergency situation arises, take out your plan and follow it. In the panic of an emergency, we don’t always think rationally. Don’t second guess yourself - stick to your plan!
If you don’t have an emergency plan, then you need to act immediately to protect yourself and your family. Ensure you have the VicEmergency App that will give you up to date information as the situation develops.
If you are relocating during an emergency, you are encouraged to go to family and friends in a location well away from the emergency area.
