Kerbside Garbage Collection

Kerbside garbage is taken to the Koonwarra Landfill.

The waste disposed of through your garbage bin is buried in the Koonwarra Landfill and is not recoverable. Landfilling of waste is a last resort and should be avoided wherever possible, through reducing, reusing and recycling.

What items can go in my bin?

• Clothing and fabric
• Plastic bags, plastic wrap and polystyrene

• No recyclables
• No green waste

• No trade waste
• No electronic / electical items
• No batteries
• No light globes
