Community Directory - Gamblers Help Service

Gambler's Help Service offers confidential professional support to people experiencing problem gambling, their family and others affected by gambling.

Gambling counselling both financial as well as general, community education and professional development are also available.

Gambler’s Help therapeutic counsellors and accredited financial counsellors are open for referrals:

• They have NO WAITLISTS
• Support people across ALL of Gippsland
• Can support people (over 18 years) for extended periods of time
• People can see counsellors face-to-face/phone/ video conferencing.
• They offer free, confidential advice, advocacy & counselling
• Are trained in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management, and other areas of risk and can work collaboratively with other services

Please send referrals to Gamblingsupportservices@lchs.com.au and provide person’s:

• Name, Date of Birth, Phone number, Address, and any other relevant information you can provide about the person’s situation.

Clients call also self-refer by calling LCHS Ph 1800 242 696 and ask for Gambler’s Help Intake worker.

Referrals for clients living outside Gippsland, call Gambler’s Help (Victoria wide) on 1800 858 858 (24hrs, 7 days/week) for their local service.

Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm.
