Loch Structure Plan
Council has adopted a Structure Plan for the townships of Loch. The Structure Plan will guide the growth and development of the townships over the next 20 years and beyond. The Structure Plan was adopted by Council on 24 August 2011. Planning Scheme Amendment C72 implemented the key recommendations of the Structure Plan into the Planning Scheme.
Amendment C72 received public submissions which were considered by an Independent Planning Panel. In consideration of the Panel Report recommendations, the Structure Plan was amended and re-adopted by Council in June 2013. Preparation of the Structure Plan was informed by economic analysis prepared by Tim Nott (Economic Analysis + Strategy) and Matters More (Land Use Economics).
Also attached below is the Loch Urban Design Framework - May 2005. This document was superseded by the Loch Structure Plan however it contains streetscape and landscape plans that remain relevant to Council.
